Pickle ball players waiting for a game.
Tuesday morning I went to teach line dancing at the rec center and Larry was playing pickleball. They smelled smoke.

This 5th wheel had just pulled into a site across from the pickleball court. The players noticed smoke coming out of it and then flames. Luckily the woman got out right away.
(We could see the flames from the rec center.) They used several fire extinguishers but the smoke was too thick to go in or stop the fire. The truck was still attached to the trailer and not until the fire company arrived were they able to pull it out.

When Larry had gone over to help he laid his pickle ball paddle on the picnic table beside the trailer. The heat from the fire melted the plastic on the handle and on the top.

A small lost to what this family just has had. They live around here so they do have a home to return to. Seeing a trailer burn up that quickly is very unsettling.
