GRANDCHILDREN FUN

This is the lovely backyard they have to play in. They love to be pushed on the swings.

Playing in the playhouse.
The cat was a new addition to the family and add for lots of excitement.
Grandpa helped to get the car's batteries charged and running.
Averie ran circles around Hunter.

Grandpa gave a helping hand.
On Wednesday we celebrated Averie's 3rd birthday a few days early. We took her to Circle M for she wanted to go to an inside pool. The water is deep and we did not have any floaties, but soon she was  climbing out,
 and jumping into Grandpa's arms.

We then had lunch at Burger King. Hunter sure looks different with his hair cut.
We had to leave on Thursday morning to go to Illinois for NOMADS annual meeting. Frog had accidentally come home with them when they visited us one time in Florida. Larry had given it to me when we first started dating. They returned it to me, but I thought it might be happier there.
Averie is also called Howie by her family. We sure enjoyed staying with the grandchildren and being part of their world. It was a very nice visit.

HAIR CUT

Mystique suggested we take Hunter for a haircut. We went to Great Clips in York. She was great with him and he was good as gold.
He needs a haircut.

What a handsome young man.

SUNDAY AT GETTYSBURG FARM

Friday we went over to Mystique's and Eric's to spend five days watching Averie and Hunter while mom, dad, Ashtyn and Alivia went to the Grand Canyon. Sunday we took them to Gettysburg Farm to play.
Hunter liked all the animals on the miniature golf course.

Then we looked at the real ones.

Trying to pet the goat.
That mule looks dead.

No, he sat up.
And even got up and walked.
Next stop was the playground. Swings are their favorite thing.

HANDS-ON HOUSE

On Tuesday we visited Mystique and the grandchildren. We brought Ashtyn back to the campground to spend two days with us. While Larry was busy with getting things done at the rental properties Ashtyn and I spent the day at Hands-on House.
There is a lot to do. Face painting,

learning about pollination and bees,
driving a tractor,
putting animals in the barn,
She is almost as tall as a cow.
shopping at the store,
being the cashier,
delivering the mail,
playing with all kinds of blocks,

outside at the sandbox,
dressed up as a mermaid with a mermaid puppet friend.
Ashtyn will be five in October and it was the perfect place to spend the day. If you have young grand children take them and enjoy all the hand-on activities.

WEEK AT CIRCLE M

We drove up to PA the end of August. We left Florida on August 29. We didn't come up 95 instead we went across South Carolina and got on 81. We arrived at Circle M on Saturday afternoon. I was a nice relaxing drive.  This is our cabin for the week M11. It is all by itself right behind the indoor pool.

Saturday night found us at the Buck for demolition derby and fireworks.
Sunday we visited Brian and Dorothy at their home, then we met up with Mark and Danielle for a visit and dinner.  Labor Day we went to my sister's so Larry could see all her newly painted rooms  and bathroom remodeling.
My son Bob lives with her.
He cooked out. It was good visiting with family.
