MORE SEATING

Saw this table posted on Facebook Marketplace yesterday and thought it would be a perfect addition to our lanai. So now we can have at least 12 people for dinner once we get back to gathering together again.

A MEMORABLE CHRISTMAS

We weren't going to PA  this year and Lynda and Bob weren't coming for a visit, so Larry decided to add a little excitement to Christmas Eve. All afternoon he was at the church for the 3 outside church services. When I was there he mentioned to me he had a pressure in his chest, but thought it was indigestion.  He came home at 6 and we had a nice ham dinner. As the evening went on he had a back, neck, and head ache. So with advice of a nurse he talked with we called 911 at 9 o'clock Christmas Eve.  Soon flashing red lights were at our door and it wasn't Santa.. Larry's blood pressure was high so they recommended he go to the ER. I took him to the one that is a few miles from our home. After more test they felt they should  transport him to South Lake Hospital in Clermont for further testing. Christmas morning they did several test and felt there was some indication that he should have a heart catheterization. Of course it couldn't be scheduled till Monday morning, with it being Christmas and then the weekend.  The good thing was I was allowed to spend the days with him, so we celebrated Christmas in the hospital and Saturday and Sunday. At 3:30 Monday afternoon he had the heart catheterization done. They were able to go in through his wrist. Some blockage was noticed but the doctor did not feel it was severe enough for a stent and could be controlled with medicine. Getting the bleeding at his wrist to stop took hours and he was finally released from the hospital at 8:30 Monday night.

Larry and I opened our presents on Tuesday morning.  I like the way we use Christmas cards from last year to decorate the packages.

My presents of a bike basket, serving tray tiers, cutters and some food and drink.
Larry got lots of food and drink, and a gun safe.
These are presents for us from my sister and son. We zoomed with them on Tuesday night to open our gifts.
Now Bob couldn't let Larry out due him for a bang  at the end of the year. So Tuesday afternoon Bob fell on black ice and fractured his tibia in his left leg. So he was at home but in pain.
Bob gave both my sister and me an echo show. Now to get it set up and doing all the amazing things it will do. Not only will Lynda and I talk each night we will also see each other.  Lynda gave me a beautiful pair of gold twist earrings.

CITRUS TOWER LIGHT SHOW

The Citrus Tower has the light display again this year. I missed it when they didn't do it last year. It has been a tradition for us to go and see it each year.
Music plays the lights dance and change colors.
It was a pretty moon light evening, cool but not cold.
The children loved it when there was snow.

ECHANTED FOREST

Monday we stopped by the Holiday Enchanted Forest in Clermont.

There are 40 trees decorated by organizations around town. I thought the fire departments was really cute, especially the hose package.

The purchasing department had Monopoly cards on it as decorations..

This tree was decorated by a racing club.
Love the little sayings on the tree.

Building and Planning had hard hats and building on the tree. Notice the cinder block gifts underneath.

They really followed the Citrus theme.

We went back that night to see them all lighted. Very pretty but glad I walked around and really looked at them during the day.

Merry Christmas from Clermont.

NIGHT OF A MILLION LIGHTS

We went to Night of a Million Lights at Give Kids the Village in Kissimmee on Dec. 14. It was a perfect night to be out walking. We had timed tickets for 8 to 10 and it took us two hours to see everything and enjoy it. Parking was easy and we were told to remember we parked at the tree lot for apparently there were several places you could park.

Each house had a theme and a sponsor. This was from Legoland.

There were lots of volunteers throughout the grounds, starting at parking. One offered to take our picture.

Lots of photo spots.

I am in there but you can't see me.

They have a minIature golf course and it was all decorated. I think we almost got lost walking around it. There was also a nice model trail exhibit.

Wish Lynda and Bob were landing on this, but no visit for Christmas this year.

Lights everywhere you look.
I want that camper for the lawn next year.
Larry thinks this should be out decorations.

We even went surfing.

There is a nice water park here for the kids.

In the courtyard we had some hot cocoa and ice cream.

Our selfie.

Those trees are made out of pie pans with a green light bulb in the middle. Pepsi also had a tree made out of plastic bottles and lights.
The mixer for the pancakes.
Going cmaping.

Carolers, No they weren't singing but there was music being played.

Candyland,
Snowmen.

Sea World

During Covid they have not been opened, what a shame for many families. This is one of the first times the public has been allowed on the property.

From Believe It or Not this  man is all made out of toys.
