SNOW?!?!?

Sunday we woke up to a beautiful sunny day but there is snow in the mountains all around us. Route 17 north was closed because of snow and ice yesterday. Red rocks of Sedona are white. Larry hurt his back yesterday while dumping our tanks. He was able to get an appointment at a chiropractor in Cottonwood at 7:45 this morning. He was feeling up to driving and we were on the road by 10:30.
Notice the flag aren't blowing today like when we arrived.
It is beautiful scenery with the snow on the mountains.

We went from 4000 feet to 7000 feet. And of course the higher we went the more snow.
This road was closed yesterday.
Headed east on I-40!
I-40 west was closed at Flagstaff. Trucks were lined up everywhere.
All the truck stops were packed.
We stopped after 170 miles and stayed at this Passport campground right off I-40 in Holbrook.
It was early afternoon so we took some time and cleaned the front of the RV with Ultra Ion. She sure shines pretty.
