This weekend was our play weekend. On Friday night we went to the Theatre Works in Davenport and saw Nunsense 2. Sister Amnesia played BINGO with us. And guess what, we all won at the same time. It was a great show and very funny.
Saturday was the United Methodist Women's Spring luncheon and fashion show.
There were lots of beautiful themed baskets full of goodies to take an opportunity on winning. The money raised at the luncheon goes to support local agencies that help youth in the community.
The lunch was lots of delicious salads.
A shop in downtown Clermont put on the fashion show.
Sunday afternoon we went to Montverde Academy and saw She Loves Me. This school put this play on in the fall and won several awards. They were invited to take it to State competition in Tampa this week to perform it on the main stage. Only 6 schools get to perform their plays on the main stage.
Most of the play takes place at this perfume store. It was a clever set, that opened up.
Amalia and Georg are the main characters. They both had great voices and really played their parts well. We happened to sit next to the mother of the girl who played Amalia.
A very talented cast. Another outstanding high school performance. We wish them well at the state competition.

LYNDEN AND SABRA
Larry's brother, Lynden and his wife Sabra have been visiting with us since the 19th of February. Their fifth wheel is parked in our RV port. How convenient they had their own home to live in.
They attended a Mental Health First Aid class with Larry last Saturday and this Saturday we decided to all go for a bike ride on the West Orange Trail. There were no parking spaces available at Killarney Station so we went to the Oakland Nature preserve and were allowed to park there.
We biked a little over 3 miles to Winter Garden. We walked around the town and their open air market with lots of vendors.
We rested by the fountain surrounded by beautiful wisteria, before biking back to the car. It was a perfect day for a ride, especially since most of the trail is in the shade. Lynden and Sabra leave tomorrow to camp for a few days at Fort Wilderness at Disney. She is so excited.
