NIGHT TOUR OF WASHINGTON,DC

We left Gettysburg about 11 on Friday and drove to Cherry Hill Park outside of Washington,DC. We stopped at a RV Service center on our way here to pick up a water pump for ours has been acting up lately. They implied it will be a little bit of a challenge for us to install it, but at least we will have one if ours stops working. This is a very nice RV park with easy access to the Metro. They held a seminar at 4 to tell all about traveling in Washington. Our tour included Greyline bus night trip of DC. So on Friday the bus picked everyone up here at the RV park at 6 and then returned us here around 10. The guide was very informative. Most of the tour there was enough daylight to see the buildings she was pointing out, and then at the end we got to see the monuments lit up at night. A very pretty sight.
The Metro bus at our camp ground. It takes you to the Metro subway station, so you never have to move your car or at least not drive it and park it in Washington!
