We had our navigation system updated and our phones programed to it( so we are now hand free). We didn't have any idea of all it could do.

This park offers a lot to keep you entertained. Shuffle board, we played a game or two.
Three outside pools. We had nice weather until Thursday but a little cool for swimming outside for me.

We hadn't played disc golf for a few years, but we had our Frisbees with us and enjoyed playing a couple of games.

We had a catered dinner each evening. A good opportunity to met new people. This couple was from Ohio.

Wednesday morning we all loaded onto buses at 8:30 and headed to Providence, Rhode Island for a guided bus tour.
We learned much about the history of Rhode Island and Providence.

Providence has 4 colleges, many restaurants, and art centers. During the year it has several water and fire evenings where they light up the cauldrons on the rivers.
After the bus tour we had a Lighthouse Bay Cruise. It was a beautiful clear day and we could see everything.

It was a narrated cruise and very interesting. We got to see 10 light houses and each one had a story.

This bridge is being painted. The barge below holds the tanks of paint and is pumped up the hoses to the bridge.
Lighthouse on Conanicut Island is now a residence.
We went here for lunch before heading back to Normandy Farms. We got back by 4 and then Larry and I went and played 9 holes of golf at Willowdale a near by golf course. A very full day.
We had lots of fun dancing on Tuesday evening and Thursday after lunch.

This is Tammy Wyatt a professional line dance teacher from Ontario. She taught several line dances to the group. I shared some of the dances I have with her and she has a good web site for dances at www.bootsnspurs.com
He was able to bounce a pencil into each mug.
