The American Music Theatre has a new show, American ICONS, since we had a buy one get one coupon from the Entertainment book we got tickets for August 15.
They portrayed all the name singer from the 50's, 60's 70's and 80's. It was a very enjoyable show.
After the show we went to Lombardo's for a delicious Italian dinner.
We camped at Hershey TT from Aug 17 to the 27th. Fairview golf course is close by.
We took a class to fit me for a driver. So maybe know I can hit the ball over 50 yards!
I had made a peach pie for Larry's mom and dad. When we arrived at their home we found out that a woman was coming from Hospice. Dad had been to the doctor's on Friday and said he didn't want to be go to the hospital again and that Mom needed help cooking. His COPD is very bad and he is on oxygen at all time. They are both 84 and in failing health. We got them Alert 1, which is the necklace they wear and can push a button to call for help when they need it. We have them on Meals on Wheels and Hospice help is coming daily. We knew he was sick but didn't realize how severe it is. The family has spent a lot of time with them, but they now need someone in the house all the time. Please keep them in your prayers.
My sister came up and on Saturday we went to Bird-in-Hand restaurant for lunch and then saw The Confession. It was and excellent play, good singing and story.
We hadn't attended a Barnstormer baseball game this year so we went on Friday night.
Before the game there was a reading and enactment of Casey at Bat.
Clyo entertained us and tried to cheer on the team but they lost to the Maryland Blue Crabs 7 -6. It was a good game and the night ended with fireworks.
