We decided to update our kitchen and bathroom counters with granite. I liked the green but the edges around the dishwasher and sink were wearing off and keeping them free of water spots took work. It was a big decision picking out what to have put in.
Once we decided they came and took exact measurements of all the counters.
They were to come on Thursday for installation but the truck broke down. Friday about 11 o'clock they started working. Removing the old counters didn't take very long,
Then they wheel in pieces of the counter and put them in place.
Quite tricky getting them put on.
By 8 o'clock that night they had it all finished except for the lower counter.
Saturday we had the plumbers come and put in the faucets. Larry helped with the bathroom.
The plumbers worked in the kitchen installing the faucet and garbage disposal.
We were busy all week so it wasn't until Friday, February 1st they could come and put in the lower counter. It took several several hours.
The square on the wall caused a lot of difficulty. First it was cut wrong, then they came back Friday night and installed a piece but it was too dark and just stood out. Can you see the difference?
Today they came again removed the piece and put in another, much better, so the work is done.
I have beautiful new counters, quite a difference than the green. Now I have to decide if I want to keep the yellow walls???
