When we help in the community the church calls it being Salty Servants. They have been having Serve the Community Days once a month. A friend of mine needed her ramp repaired, I volunteered Larry. The boards at the bottom were rotten and the ramp needed to be more secure. We spent three days on fixing it this week.
My first job was demolition. The boards had been nailed down so I used the crowbar and hammer and took out all the boards on the ramp while Larry worked on the boards to the house.
We work on Thursday in gale force winds, but by 4 we had all the boards screwed on. We were short wood to finish putting a board along the side, but will go back and do it another time.
