AMERICAN GARDENS THEATRE

We left the Christian Film Festival at 4 on Friday so we could go to Epcot and hear Blood Sweat the Tears.  We arrived just as the first show was starting, so we stood in line for the 6:45 show.

Time for a selfie.

This was the main singer. He had been on the Voice. Most of the songs he sang we did not know.
Lot of instrumental music, sax, trombone, trumpet. Not the best show we have gone to,

Monday night we went to hear the Commodores. Our neighbors told us they were going so we were able to make reservations too.

They were real showman. They formed the group in 1968 as freshman at Tuskegee Institute.
They worked the audience well.
Walter Orange was in the audience. He was one of the original members, and wrote a lot of the songs.
The two on the right are his sons.

Tuesday came back from camping at Peace River a day early so we could go to Epcot to hear Mercy Me. Got there in time for the first performance and they announced Finesse would be appearing. I checked my phone and realized I had put down the wrong date, Mercy Me was there on Sunday and Monday.
They  were a good group, modern songs and very energetic. I enjoyed them, but disappointed in missing Mercy Me.
