Friday, Feb 19th was a little drizzly but we decided to go back to Epcot in the afternoon. The Festival of Arts was there from January 8 to February 22.
Springtime in Florida. At the Canada Mill Stage the Jammitors perform. Creative drumming and good humor.
We had just found the World Showplace events pavilion last week and it was the main reason we wanted to go back today. The pavilion is spacious. There were some tables in the middle, well spaced, to have some food and drink while you enjoyed the performances. The Epcot pianist played Disney music.
There were two performers of thrilling strength acts. The guy did a balancing act (no picture, sorry) and the girl was quite a "pole" dancer.
It was fun watching these artist paint Disney characters using pastels. They had a picture to look at.
And all around the room was Disney art you could purchase and even get signed by the artist. A good place to spend a rainy afternoon.
While they sang a song from a show you watched a character be drawn step by step to completion.
We are watching the building of this on the World Showcase Lagoon.
From the America Garden Theatre
from Mexico. We are so fortunate to be able to go in and just walk around and enjoy a few things each visit. We have had no trouble getting reservations to go in so far.
