REPTILE INVASION

The Bush family came into Lancaster for a friend's birthday party on Saturday morning. After the party they met us at The Pet and Fish Place on Centerville Road. There was a Reptile Invasion event put on by a reptile rescue from Red Lion. The volunteers were great with letting the children touch and hold reptiles.

Ashtyn was very brave. She held this one for a while

until she moved on to the bearded lizard.
Hunter touching the snake.
Averie has the snake around her neck.
Ashtyn holding a snake.
Mystique had this snake around her neck. It loved being in her hair. Since all of these snakes are rescues they were named. This snake is Cheeto.
Ashtyn with another snake.
Hunter held this snake or
it was holding on to Hunter.
There was a macaw.  Ashtyn wanted to hold it,
then Averie. She was blessed with it pooping down her jacket. It was quickly cleaned up and no damage done.
We then moved over to the stingray tank.  The water was a little deep for Hunter to reach down and touch them.
After exploring around the store we took Hunter to stay with us for the night. This is our late Christmas celebration with him. He wanted some little green army guys, not real easy to find. We finally found one, and only container, at the second Walmart. Of course we found a triceratops he wanted too.  Our RV is a little small for overnight stays, especially for his large air mattress, but we managed. Sunday we went for breakfast at the Pancake House in Ephrata then Sunday School at GT church in Westlawn. It is the church they go to when the visit  Diane. The weather has turned warm so we stopped at Penney's and got him a light weight Adidas jacket and pant set before lunch at McDonalds. We enjoyed having him visit with us and getting to know him more. He is a very bright kindergartener and talkative young man.

BOB'S AND FELICIA'S WEDDING RECEPTION IN PA

Friday afternoon Bob picked me up and we went to the Honey Brook Lion club. They had it rented for three days for their wedding reception.
It was amazing how the room was transformed, but it took hours of work.
All 80 chair coverings had to be ironed. Larry came after his zoom meeting and started ironing.
While Lynda, Larry and I ironed Felicia's parent and  relatives from Atlantic City put up tea lights and sheer material at the windows and along the walls.
After ironing for hours Lynda, started folding napkins with  the silverware. Joe was Bob's best man and he gave a helping hand with  whatever needed to be done.
Saturday morning the room was ready. Looking from the doorway to the head table and stage.
Looking back from the stage.

The dessert table. Cake and cupcakes.

Some mix drinks.
Total solar eclipse, Cranberry grape and Jack Daniel's

Niagara Water. Hawaiian Punch blueberry and Black berry Rum.

While we were at the hall getting the drink and food ready. Felicia, Amanda, Donna and her mom were having their hair and makeup done and pictures taken at her parent's house.
The guest arrived at 4. We sat with friends from Parkesburg that I haven't seen in years.
The head table decorated. I liked the His and her champagne glasses.
After a meal by Mission BBQ, a couple dance, and a toast it was time to cut the cake.
Felicia dancing with her dad.

I danced with Bob.

Bob took the garter off Felicia before I could get a picture.
Lucas  caught it and Lynda caught the bouquet.  So I wonder which one will get married next??

BACK TO PA

We loaded up the RV, took Patty and left Florida on Friday morning, April 12.  The weather was good except for being a little windy on the drive up.

We arrived at Circle M on Sunday.  The pink and white flowering trees are a beautiful sign of spring. I enjoyed seeing the daffodils on our drive last weekend to New York. The tulips are now  blooming. Haven't been here in spring for many years.

We went over to Mystique's and Eric's on Thursday for a visit. All of the children are now in school, so we meet them at the bus stop.  Averie is a chicken whisperer, they follower her and she can catch them.
Mystique fixed Ashtyn's hair for her violin concert that evening.
Hunter told Grandpa all about the picture he was coloring after he had read us his homework.
Alivia enjoys listening to music and swinging.
Ashtyn in a pretty new dress and her hair all curled.  She was to be in a concert that evening playing the violin. But upon arriving at the school we found out it was the wrong night.

THE WEDDING

Saturday afternoon we got dressed for the wedding. I wore a coat over my dress most of the time.

Lynda and Dottie dressed up.
The wedding started at the Quality Hotel and Suites at Niagara Falls. I was given a beautiful corsage. All the flowers were made by Beth, Bob's best man's wife.
Lynda's corsage.
Felicia's Aunt Don Don. She was a maid of honor.

Beth and Shawn with two beautiful flower arrangements she made for the wedding.

Amanda, Felicia's friend and maid of honor.
We walked from the hotel to the falls. They said two blocks but at the falls we walked another two blocks. Lynda ended up with blisters on her feet. If I hadn't put my sneakers in my purse and she is my shoe size she wouldn't have made it back.
Bob and the minister waiting for the bride.
The minister was a retired Church of Christ minister and had a very nice ceremony.
The wedding.
Exchanging rings.

Her bouquet. The hankie at the bottom was Bob's great Grandmother's, Edna Whelpton MacAllister, She had carried the hankie on her wedding day June 14, 1911.
A beautiful bride.
The Moyer family, Lucas, Felicia and Bob.
By the falls.
The ceremony was video and photographed. More pictures being taken.

Felicia and her mom.
A nice wedding dinner was held in Buffalo at Bravo Restaurant.  Even with some dancing.
Dad and Felicia.
Cutting the cake.
Bob wore most of it.
A kiss to make up.

They have two dogs and had them with them. They were to be part of the wedding but it was just too much stress for Bob to get them dressed and to the hotel.
