MAKING MEMORIES IN NIAGARA FALLS

Larry and I flew to Philadelphia on April 2.  We stayed at my sister's until Thursday when we all drove to Niagara Falls for Bob and Felicia's wedding.

Hotel rooms were very expensive, so we rented an apartment through AirBNB for four days. It was in Wheatland, just outside of Niagara Falls.

Nice living room and kitchen

Large master bedroom

And a second large bedroom.

It had started to flurry in NY before we arrived on Thursday afternoon. Friday morning we woke up to snow covered cars and lawns. Roads were fine.

We went into Niagara Falls State Park

It was cold and windy.
Too cold to ride the Maid of  the Mist.  We have been here twice before and done many of the attractions. Seeing the falls is always amazing.

Friday evening we had a rehearsal dinner at the Grapevine Restaurant in Amherst NY. We got to meet Amanda, Felicia's maid of honor and Joe and Shawn Bob's best men and their wives.  The food was delicious.

 Bob and Felicia
Many people came to the Falls to see the solar eclipse on April 8th.  Bob and Felicia stayed and experienced a total eclipse. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day, but at times you could see the sun. Bob said it got dark, street lights came on and the temperature dropped. We headed back to Philadelphia on Monday morning so we were in the Poconos when we the eclipse occurred. It wasn't quite a  total eclipse there but still amazing to see.  What an amazing memorable weekend.
