I spent the rest of the week taping the seams, and then spackling.
Food Bank side of wall hung. Larry showing Lopez electrical work.
Jim, our neighbor helped with the lighting.
Larry installed the door for the window.
Hung up a chain to hold the door open.
Trim around the door. Jim helped take out the wooden bins on that side of the room.
After spackling there is sanding. Pastor Michael gave a hand.
Another gentleman came and helped get this wall spackled. Larry finished the frame for the door on this wall.
The mask wasn't for Corona virus. I always wear one when I sand for it gets very dusty.
I did't think I would ever finish and have it ready to paint.
Saturday morning Danny came to help paint. He rolled and I did the hand painting. He painted the light blue wall and then began the dark blue for the rest of the walls.
Danny had to leave at 11:00, and then by 3:00 I had finished the first can of blue paint. Ready to go home.
No, Danny came back opened the second can and started rolling the other wall.
He almost got it finished before running out of paint.
I was painting the orange and all the wood pieces on the top. Up and down the ladder, but they were finished by 6:00. Glad tomorrow is a day of rest.
The blue painting is finished!
Larry painted the window door the light blue and then the frame around the window white.Jim stained and Larry varnished a beautiful piece of wood for the counter top. Larry getting ready to screwed it on from the bottom.
All doors and windows have to lock so he put on sliding locks for window.
Finished! What a difference a week makes.
