HIKING

The weather was so fall like on Saturday we decided to go on a hike. We went to Susquehannock State Park. We had hiked there about 20 years ago on the Rhododendron Trail. It is 2.4 miles long and marked as moderately challenging. 20 years ago that was true, not so much today. We climbed around a fallen tree and down to the stream. Not to bad.

Then we started the climb up over rocks.

and up some more.
Looking back down the trail.  It said it would take an average of an hour and 15 minutes to complete this trail.  We finally found the trail that led us back to the parking lot in a little over 2 hours.  We had water with us, but were ready to go get a steak sandwich at Rosie's. Don't think we will hike that trail again.

Two days later I was hardly able to walk. My right hip and upper leg hurt. I went to a chiropractor and didn't do much walking.
