VISIT WITH THE GRANDCHILDREN

On Saturday we went to the Red Lion Street Fair. Eric Bush, our son-in-law, plays guitar in the band, Full Effect.

 Full Effect
They played at 2:30 to 4.

He brought the grandchildren with him. It was a hot day and there was no shade, so we took them to get snow cones and then play on this inflatable. Hunter
Averie

and Ashtyn. We took Ashtyn back to Circle M with us and she stayed with us for two days. On Sunday she went to church with us and then we enjoyed the day swimming. On Monday she was Larry's navigator when we moved to Gettysburg Farm in Dover. She will turn 9 in September, so we celebrated her birthday a little early.  Larry then took her back to her home in Spring Grove and picked up Averie.

Averie really loved the pool and spent hours swimming.

She made a friends to swim and play with in the water.

After swimming we visited all the animals. She stayed with us overnight and we celebrated her birthday. She turns 7 in October.

Wednesday afternoon Mystique brought Hunter over for his turn to stay with us. Averie and he are very close, so she stayed also. Hunter will be 6 in November.

After the pool we went up to the playground where they played in the sand and I took this cute picture.
When we went back to the RV. Larry told us we were without power. Maintenance had come over and checked the box, it was fine so they thought it was our plug.  Larry drove to the Camping World in Hanover and got a new plug and spliced it on. Still didn't work. We were running the generator for air conditioner and lights for it was after 8 and getting dark . A worker came by and said we could not stay there and run the generator. So unfortunately we packed up the grandchildren and their parents came and got them. We ran the generator till 10 and then opened windows. In the morning at 7 when the lawn mowers woke us up we started the generator again so we could put in the slides and jacks. We called around to find someone that could find and fix the electrical problem. Larry believed it probable was the transfer switch. We found North East Generator Service. They are from Annville, PA and would come to our RV, so we changed our reservations to Hershey Thousand Trails for the next two days.

When they saw the transfer switch which is located under our bed, all they could say is you are really lucky you didn't have a fire. So being without electric was a lot better then having had a fire, especially while the grandchildren were with us. They were able to temporarily fix it so we could safely have electricity.  They will come to Circle M on Monday and put in a new transfer box. We also will have a surge protector put on. We highly recommend Brad if you need electrical help when camping in this area.  genrepairdudes@gmail.com 717-648-5480.
